The term "Day Of" can be misleading. In reality my services start at around three months out from the event date. I sit down in person, with my clients and their planners to talk through their unique vision and carefully curated special details. With my experience I am able to bring to the conversation a lot of small planning details often missed when a couple is focused on the big picture. I work together with my clients to finalize vendors, décor details as well as the elusive timing for the "Big Day".
I assume the role of point person for your chosen vendors and work hard to build rapport with each of them in the weeks leading up to your event. This helps to create an open line of communication. I take the information gathered in my meetings with my clients and disperse the information to the vendors as well as communicate time frames relevant to each of them for the event day.
I also work closely with your venue(s) to insure they know the detailed plans for the event.
One of the most important services provided is the "Day Of" timeline! I work hard to provide a detailed timeline (sometimes down to five minute increments!) that will include each important event of the "Big Day". I include where and when all important persons, wedding party and vendors are involved.
When we have officially made it to the event day, I hit the ground running and don't stop until the end of the evening and the last rental is picked up to make sure everyone involved knows what's happening next and that events are kept in a timely fashion.
In the day or two leading up to the event I will run a 'walk through' rehearsal of the processional and ceremony answering all questions as well as providing clear direction as to timing, pace and order of events. I work quickly, but efficiently to gather everyone involved in the wedding party as well as family members, officiants and chosen musicians to insure everyone is confident in their tasks.
This "Big Day" is a big deal to not only my clients, but also to those they have chosen to stand closely beside them for this big moment. I work with your wedding party to help them be informed as to where and when they need to be, any tasks they have been assigned to and to insure everyone is photo ready in a timely manner.
I've always said communication is the most important part of any relationship and that is no exception for myself and my clients! As someone who has planned a wedding for myself and many friends, I know that in the midst of planning new items are added to the check list all the time, practically everyday. I like to offer my clients nearly unlimited correspondence in whatever way they feel most comfortable via phone call, text or email for the 3 months leading up to the event so that they can delegate freely and feel supported.
I know, we don't want to think about anything going wrong on such a special day. In my experience, when you have such a big event planned with so many necessary people and specific details happening all at once, there is a chance for an unexpected event, emergency or disruption to come up. Part of my service is to provide quick resolutions with little to no effect or disruption for my clients or their guests.
I have on hand at all times my carefully curated emergency kit that includes everything from a stain stick and sowing kit to phone chargers and even my large outdoor, weather proof speaker! It's my goal to fill the gap and be as prepared as possible for anything that might sneak up on my clients and their families on the "Big Day".
